President William H. Taft Papers, 1897-1918
William H. Taft spent his professional career in public administration. He served as president (1909-1913), Supreme Court judge, governor of the Philippines, and secretary of War. This collection consists of 203 reels of microfilm. It primarily focuses on the relationship between Taft and Theodore Roosevelt whose friendship turned sour in around the 1912 election.
